We're Reading!!!

Students at Mark Twain Elementary School are readers! Learning to read is a critical part of education. One of the best ways to support reading fundamentals is to provide an environment that is rich in reading materials and strong in reading encouragement. We here at MTES focus on submerging our students in opportunities to read and providing reinforcement activities.

Student Absences
It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to call the school within one hour of the start of the school day when a child is going to be absent from school. Planned absences must be reported by the parent or guardian to the school no later than the day prior to the expected absence.
